Participants

A total of 32 participating countries have joined PERIAMAR: 31 COST members (19 of which are Inclusiveness Target Countries) + 1 COST cooperating country. In addition, we count with two Near Neighbour Countries, one International Partner Country and one European Union Agency (EFSA) as observers in the Action's Management Committee.

Action participants include Management Committee and Working Group members. The following figures reflect the multi-actor approach of the network and our commitment with COST mission and policies. PERIAMAR network has:

    • 31% of participants coming from non-academic institutions, including industry, small- or medium-sized enterprises, government, and NGOs
    • 49% of participants coming from Inclusiveness Target Countries
    • 26% of Young Researchers or Innovators
    • 44:56% female:male participants
